Humber View Point 29-9-12

With Jacqui still recovering from her operation we decided on taking a short steady walk down to the view point, with the tide on the way in I had hoped for some birds such as Skuas or Gannets to be moving through but no luck with that.
We did watch a female Marsh Harrier come up the Humber and over the bridge also a large raft of mixed duck Wigeon and Teal loafing about in the middle of the river,a flock of wader were wandering around on the mud which consisted of Bar-tailed Godwit and Redshank with a Curlew giving some good photography opportunities and a Apache attack helicopter flew over from the north side of the river not something you see every day.
