With only poor views of the Fudge duck yesterday morning Jacqui and myself decided on going back for another look at it,has this was another lifer for Jacqui
on arrival at the Western approach pit we found Steve Routledge looking at it in his scope as it was sitting in the reeds giving Jacqui a good look at it as it came into the open, after a while we decided on walking up to Ness Hide to seek shelter out of the wind and wait to see if a Bittern would appear but no luck with that.
Other birds on Ness pit included
Goldeneye 1f,Wigeon 1f,Lapwing,Shoveler,Tufties and Gadwall.
A sign of winter on the way a skein of 13 Pink-footed Geese flew west over the reserve.
