With some sunny spells forecast I decided on heading off out for the first time since returning back to Nuneaton,So I headed off over to Shustoke knowing I would pick up a couple of year ticks.
I arrived about 10.30 and took a full walk around counting 2 Common Tern, 7 Common Sandpiper,a few House martins mixed in with the Swallows and Sand martins and at least 6 Grey Wagtails which some was feeding young, 2 Common Whitethroat and a single Common Buzzard soared over the fields, after about 2 hours the rain/showers started so called it a morning.

Far Ings Marsh Harriers 11 - 4 - 15
With it being a nice afternoon I thought I would go and enjoy a walk around the local reserve, and try for the Barn Owls again but must have been a bit windy for them, but I did enjoy watching the Marsh Harriers around Ness pit with at least 100 Swallows and Sand Martin and a brief view of a Bearded tit as it flew in to the reeds before it started pinging.
